As budget season heats up, the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits (SVCN) will be hosting several workshops to educate nonprofit staff and board members about the San José City and Santa Clara County budgets. Join community leaders and budget experts as we unpack the San José Mayor’s March Budget Message, which outlines the City’s priorities for the upcoming fiscal year!

Topics include:

  • The San José City budget process, timeline, and status updates (Ángel Aliano, SVCN)
  • Budget Message highlights and advocacy opportunities (Matt King, Sacred Heart Community Service)
  • General Q&A (Bob Brownstein, Working Partnerships USA)

We encourage attendees to share their observations and insights into the budget message and process!

See below for information on the speakers
