Speaker

Delrisha White Principal Consultant, Equity Erudition

Delrisha is a social impact leader who brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to community empowerment to her work. Beginning her career in the classroom in Miami-Dade, Delrisha later transitioned to Silicon Valley, where she coached systems impacted youth at the Silicon Valley Children's Fund, now called Pivotal. There, she fostered partnerships across Santa Clara County, liaising with organizations dedicated to serving young people in Santa Clara such as the Department of Juvenile Detention, the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE), and organizations such as the Bill Wilson Center, Fresh Lifelines for Youth, and ConXion to Community.

Delrisha's expertise extends beyond local initiatives, as she has leads workshops nationally on leadership development, education, and racial equity and inclusion. Notably, in 2022, she spearheaded a multi-year community engagement campaign on behalf of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Through this initiative, Delrisha convened national nonprofits, community leaders, and individuals impacted by poverty, facilitating focus groups nationwide. This work underscored the critical importance of capacity-building within nonprofits, recognizing them as crucial agents of change, with the unique positionality to bridge the gap between government, institutions, and the communities they serve to encourage systemic change.

Delrisha holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Bennett College. She received the prestigious Intellectual Contribution Award while pursuing her Master's degree in Education Policy & Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
